Confucius

When most people think of Confucius, they think of the quirky sayings that use to reside in the fortune cookies of old.

At some point his sayings were considered to risque, off color or politically incorrect and his quotes were traded  in for rather blase and boring sayings.  Along with the loss of the Confucius quotes, he fell by the wayside with not many people remembering him.  It is time for Confucius to make a comeback.

If you don’t know much about the philosopher here is a tiny bit of information on him.

Fortune Cookie

Confucius was considered a  great scholar and philosopher lived from 551-479 BC. He taught simple basic principles: love one another, rule by virtuous example, honor your parents, etc.

His philosophy emphasized personal and governmental morality and correctness related to social relationships, justice and sincerity.  In a nutshell:  Confucius believed everyone should come from a place of honor and integrity.

He believed by following these virtues one could become prosperous while helping others prosper as well (what goes around comes around.)

Confucius was also known for his emphasis on education and study, saying that we may not be able to bend fate but we could determine what we accomplished.

Consider a Confucius statute for academic success and happiness in the home.

Place this statue in your study area or the study area of a child to bring energy of both pride in one’s work and success in one’s studies.

Place this statue near the picture of a child away at school to bring the energy of a great teacher to the child.

Or place this statue near the front door to bring money and means to achieve academic goals.
