Wealth – Look at it in a different way!

“Wealth is the ability to fully experience life.

What does wealth mean to you? Possessions? Cars? Money? Affluence: A great amount of something? I consider myself extremely wealthy. I have incredible parents, wonderful siblings and solid, amazing friends. I have an abundance of fantastic people in my life that leave me feeling blessed and wealthy.

If you define wealth by money…count me out. I would like you to think of wealth in new and different ways that I believe will give you a greater appreciation for the life you have, as you work for the life you want. Let’s celebrate what we have…right now in this moment.

I found a blog about wealth and paraphrased here a bit. The blog is gone, but the words still hold weight:

By living simply, frugally, and purposefully, we can create a broader view of wealth as more than just money or material.  As the economy around us continues to change in unprecedented ways, the time is ripe for us to develop our own ideas of what it mean to be rich and create our own rules about what we value and not what we are told we should value.

A more enlightened view of what it means to be wealthy not only benefits us, but society at large. It’s time for a paradigm shift.

By creating our own standards and criteria, we can live as abundantly as possible. You may even find out that some of the most valuable things cost no money at all. Remember, it’s not how much you have, but what you have and how little you actually need!

Let’s celebrate what we have right now in this moment. Spread the word that wealth now has a much broader definition!
