Saraswati

Saraswati the Goddess of Learning & Wisdom

She is the rays of the sun which banish ignorance and dispel darkness. Without the light only chaos and confusion survive.

She is usually shown seated playing a lute(veena).

This makes her an exceptional choice for musicians, artists, performers, speakers, actors, teachers, students, scholars, writers, scientists, etc.

Saraswati may be depicted with four arms seated on a her vehicle a white swan.

She also may be shown holding a book and a rosary in her rear two hands, while the front two hands are engaged in the playing of the lute (veena).

She is the divine consort or wife of Lord Brahma, the Creator of the universe. Since knowledge is necessary for creation or creativity, Saraswati symbolizes the creative power of Brahma.
